Re: Enter The Dragon (various)

I've been trying to, but DVDFab can't get through the scanning process. Neither can AnyDVDHD.

I see, it's your Blu-Ray-Rom drive problem. Lots of cheap drives have problems ripping discs with DVDFab.
I had this problem in the past until bought myself a Plextor drive. Now no problems even with ...

Re: Enter The Dragon (various)

I remember reading the same thing had happened with UK releases, with the first including the documentary, and a second not including it. It seems that this is a separate release Chris, so feel free to post it in the YC forum.
So it's not an Oz-disk only problem, but happens to all world-releases ...

Re: list of DVD/BDs cropped/stretched into widescreen

Dragon Ball Z Kai sets 1-8 - Funimation - Region A BD - 1.78:1 (cropped) ?

Dragon Ball Z Kai on Blu-Ray is presented in OAR of 4:3. It was only shown in Widescreen on network/cable television.

Re: Enter The Dragon (various)

Well Blu-Ray.com forum member Technique says A Warriors Journey is not on his disc..

I'm confused. I am positive it's on my one.. wish the bloody thing would load.

I'm not giving up though.. I'll see if i can get my disc fixed, and then I can say for sure my specs were not correct ;) There might ...

...will double check the disc after work this evening, but I did use BDInfo to scan the disc, so everything should be correct.
Am eagerly awaiting your investigation. And if your copy has the same cover as the one in my hands ( http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Enter-the-Dragon-Blu-ray/8793/ minus the ...

Re: Enter The Dragon (various)

Unsure where to post this one, as it covers a few categories. Feel free to move it elsewhere, if you deem it out of place here.

1) http://caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergleiche/multi_list.php?hd_multiID=250 has a few visual comparisons with audio specs, if someone wants to add the link to http://www ...

Re: Blade Runner DVD Vs Blu-Ray

The bd transfer is only marginally better over dvd occasionally during the movie and it could have been much better. TrueHD 5.1 audio is again way better than the dolby 5.1 on the dvd in terms of clarity and depth and perhaps the only real reason to update to bd, if you have a proper audio setup ...

Also, when the database says 'FORCED on the English soundtrack', does that mean they do not appear with the French audio track? so If I was able to find out where I could buy this, I could re-encode the DVD ...
