Re: Customs/Royal Mail charges.
I reckon that mail companies around Europe probably do it to punish you for spending money overseas and not putting it back into the economy or something. Either way it's bloody greedy of them. When I received my parcel from amazon.com (which cost £22 something for the 4 DVD's inside) I had to pay ...

Re: Customs/Royal Mail charges.
Yeah I usually only buy 2 or 3 films at a time from amazon.com. A couple of quid would be a lot better. Would I be right in thinking that Mount Pleasant is in or near Cardiff?

Re: Customs/Royal Mail charges.
Cheers Sam. So it doesn't matter how much the postage is then? I think that the £8 handling charge takes the piss.

Customs/Royal Mail charges.
I recently received an order from amazon.com after having to pay customs and Royal Mail handling charges. Does anyone know if there's any sort of limit you can stay under to avoid this in future?

Re: Nightbreed
By German standards.......yeah because now that you mention it the German's have a bad habit of needlessly over cutting (in my opinion) a lot of films.

Re: Nightbreed
There's a German release on amazon.co.uk that boats English audio and claims to be uncut although there isn't a run time listed. I know what you mean about getting a decent cut of some films Jyri. I live in hope that they'll release a fully uncut version of Mad Max The Road Warrior one day.

Nightbreed
Has anyone got the specs for the versions of this film that are available in the UK? It's a film I've liked for a long time but never got around to picking it up so I was just wondering what would be the best to go for.

Re: Blade Runner DVD Vs Blu-Ray
Agreed when it comes to getting the best cut of a film, Jyri. I always check on here before buying anything. When someone first gave me a link to this site I was livid when I realised how many DVD's I owned were cut or not extended ect ect, lol.

Re: Blade Runner DVD Vs Blu-Ray
I did notice how they've been doing that more and more with BR, Jyri. That being said some BR are still cut or just the theatrical version where as others aren't. Jennifer's Body would be one. The last time I checked the UK BR was the theatrical version yet the cut available in the States was ...
