Avoid the original versions, which had very poor transfers.
How to tell them apart The original versions had a banner across the top saying "Stanley Kubrick Collection"; the Remastered versions add a second line underneath that, which says "Digitally Restored and Remastered". Also, the Remastered versions have 5.1 soundtracks, the original versions have 1.0 Mono.
