R2 Germany is close to the presumed 1.66:1 original aspect ratio and offers several extras.
There is a discrepancy between the running times of these two editions, which presumably offer different versions of the movie. R2 Germany has two deleted scenes, but even if those scenes, totalling 1:51, are present in the Spanish release, it's not enough to explain the 3:20 discrepancy. It has also been confirmed that R2 Spain is not a NTSC/PAL conversion.
