The UK release for the wealth of extras, the 5.1 soundtrack and the lack of burnt-in subtitles. The Italian release includes a few brief featurettes, but this material may be covered in the UK release extras and is not English-friendly.

There is also a Studio Canal release in France, but specs for this release could not be confirmed.

NB/ As the Neapolitan dialect used in the series is unfamiliar to many Italians, the series was subtitled in Italy as well (carried across to the Italian DVD).

• R2 United Kingdom- Studio Canal - No cuts (445:58 PAL).
