OVERALL: Draw
The Italian and French release have a better transfer of the Italian version with scenes not present in the English or French versions, although it is not English friendly and does not contain the nude scene present in the French theatrical version (the source of Synapse's release).
GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in a few versions:
- the export version as scene in the US theatrical and television prints (~83 mins) which cuts all hints of lesbianism as well as some scenes that are present only in the Italian version and the nude insert from the French version;
- the Italian version (~90 mins) including scenes deleted from the international versions;
- the French version missing the Italian-only scenes but including a nude insert (~89 mins);
- the recent 4K restoration which is a composite of the Italian and French versions (~92 minutes). -
CUTS:
- R0 Uncensored International Version America- Synapse Films - No cuts - French version from the different source elements) with export nude scene not present in the Italian or English versions (89:04)
- R2 France- Seven 7 - No cuts - Italian version (86:06 PAL) containing three scenes not in the French print, but missing the export nude scene.
- R2 Italy- Sinister Film - No cuts - Italian version (86:06 PAL) containing three scenes not in the French print, but missing the export nude scene.
- R2 Japan- Kinokuniya Company Ltd. - No cuts - French version (89:34 NTSC) with export nude scene not present in the Italian or English versions.
