Like Crazy (blu-ray) £1.75 delivered:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listin ... lpoirev-21

I would say this is a price mistake, but I ordered Jeff Who Lives at Home at a similar price and in the same circumstances last week which came today.

Region free.

Due South: Seasons 1-3 boxset $12.90 at Amazon USA
http://www.amazon.com/Due-South-Ultimat ... lpoirev-20

It's under £12 shipped to the UK. I paid £80 for this on release. :o

The fact that some reviewer compares the picture quality with "The Ray Bradbury Theatre" makes me very cautious, since the latter is the very reference for how not to do a DVD release. That coupled with that there is a UK release with better extras (according to your comparison) and presumeably better picture quality, makes me pass despite the very low price.

Maybe not the right topic to post but could someone recommend a good online shop for US DVDs and Blurays.

After many years I thought I would buy some from Amazon.com but their marketplace international shipping rates are insane $14.29 for a single item.

It's cheapest to buy them from the UK marketplace in my experience.

Thats a good idea :-D

I was already thinking of using Canadian Amazon, but remembering all the troubles I have had with Canadian postal service was keeping me from doing that.

The major sellers typically has all or a significant part of their items on both American, Canadian and UK Amazon sites, some also on Play.com and probably a lot of other sites. In my quite limited experience the order will be handled the same regardless of which site you use to buy from the same seller.

I'm curious about what your experience with the canadian postal service is, because I have had no trouble ordering from third-party canadian sellers, but ordering from amazon.ca directly can cause the item to be in transit for two-three months.

I have bought US discs from Amazon UK marketplace before I don`t know how I forgot that. Play.com only sells to a very limited number of countries, mine is not one of them.

The ordering from Amason.ca is not the problem, the problem is Canadian postal service. I have ordered stuff from all around the world and so far the Canadian postal service is hands down the worst there is - they lose packages or send them on a around the world trip way too often.

Art of Submission (German Blu-ray) £2.50 (USED) delivered @ Amazon UK
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... lpoirev-21

Always been interested in this one with Ving Rhames as I quite like these low budget genre movies. £2.50 for a used copy delivered is a cracking price IMO so went for it. There are still two in stock for those interested.

Just managed to pick up some b-movie catalogue titles pretty cheap (and some more well known titles via imports). I've noticed zoverstocks are more than undercutting now - they are selling for £££ cheaper than anyone else. Most of these were new, but about 25% were used. Quite amazed it only came to £60! Biggest surprises were the Italian releases of Happy Go Lucky and Strangers on a Train for £2.00 each plus £1.26 postage.

There are bargains to be had if you're patient. Anyway, this is what I grabbed (country of release noted if not UK):

300 Killers (German)
2012
Age of Heroes
Alpha & Omega
Can't Hardly Wait (10th Anniversary)
The Corridor
Dead Heads
Detachment
Ernest Goes to Jail (USA)
Flypaper
Happy Go Lucky (Italian)
Hierro
I'm Still Here
Locked Down
Lord of War
Moonraker (USA)
No Way Back
Rocket Singh (Indian)
Scenes From a Mall (USA)
Stash House
Strangers on a Train (Italian)
There Be Dragons

Moonraker I am buying for a friend. I have the boxset already.

Yep, pretty much anytime I buy used, it is from them. My rule for buying used is if it is 30% less than the cheapest new.

Well my selection of sellers is also limited to those who have international shipping, but a lot of times zoverstocks has still overall best price.
