Various websites say the "Ultimate Editions (DVD)" of "007 A View To A Kill (1985)" have been screen cropped (despite the aspect ratios for them being correct I think at 2.35:1).

The following website suggests the BLURAYS might also be affected (though I might have misread or something):

Re: 007 A View To A Kill (1985) - ultimate editions cropped
The links don't have any screenshots that are working so how much is actually cropped?
Looking at capsaholic the framing is basically the same with the 2 disc DVD and Blu-ray.

Like the other Bond DVD pages, this one is also in need of an overhaul.

Yeah I noticed the screenshot links weren't working - sorry about that. Unfortunately again I don't have a copy myself to check, and these websites notes are all I've found to go on.James-Masaki_Ryan wrote:The links don't have any screenshots that are working so how much is actually cropped?

Still, I thought maybe since several websites talked about the "Ultimate Editions (DVD)" of this film being cropped (supposedly anyway), the information might be more accurate. Particuarly the https://www.zetaminor.com/dvd/james_bon ... _moore.htm link and what it says (albeit breifly):
I noticed that several other 007 James Bond titles listings here on dvdcompare have notes referencing information from the zetaminor website above - so I figured this website might be a reliable source of information - maybe? (While the other websites I provided, even if they have missing images and don't mention much, they might just confirm my findings). But anyway, again I understand these sources aren't much information to go on. So up to you if you decide to make any changes to the listing page.A VIEW TO A KILL - 1985
Although not a popular entry in the series, to be sure, and one which deserves re-evaluation, A View To A Kill was nevertheless treated with great respect upon its DVD debut. One of the few SE releases to retain its original logo at the start of the film, and perfectly framed at approximately 2.35:1, the SE looked glossy, with strong colours and little in the way of print damage, had an enveloping 5.1 mix, and even contained a deleted scene for our consumption. Well, this time out, the Dolby track has been given a DTS track for company, and even more deleted scenes have found their way out of the archives (one of which necessitated that the overall rating for the package be raised to a “12”). Sadly, this would appear to be the first of two films that have been appallingly treated for the UE re-release. Not only is the image cropped to a frankly alarming degree for quite a lot of the film, but the colour also appears to be much subdued, when compared with previous releases.

If there are any links with screenshots that would be helpful, but can't find any. I'll leave this one as is for now, but I'll eventually get to it when I update the Bond entries which will be a huge task that will take a while.
